Access piCorePlayer via ssh
piCorePlayer has ssh active by default. This means you can access piCorePlayer from any computer on the network with an ssh client.
From the command line
Steps
Step 1

Type
ssh user@<IP address>
at the command prompt.$
ssh tc@192.168.1.111
Step 2
- The first time you access the remote computer, type
yes
to establish host authenticity.

Type piCorePlayer’s password when prompted.

exit
to close terminal.

- Start your ssh client software.
Step 2
- Enter your IP address.
Step 3
- Set Port to
22
.
Step 4
- Set Connection type to
SSH
.
Step 5
- Click [Save] button.
Step 6
- Click [Open] button.
Step 7

Login into your piCorePlayer.
login as:
tc
password:piCore
(default)
Step 8
- Type
exit
or click[X]
to close terminal.
Disable ssh
- [Main Page] in [Beta] mode > [Security] > [Disable SSH].
